When traveling, connections mean food—and Boston Logan is no stranger to connections! My experience eating gluten free in BOS has been overwhelmingly positive. To be honest, my favorite part is that they feature a favorite food of mine: fried shrimp. There aren’t a huge amount of options, but what they do have is wonderful in my opinion.
I’ve spent my fare share of hours in the O’hare airport; long layovers, late flights, ridiculous TSA lines, you name it. It’s been in the news a lot recently for basically being a hot mess, but it’s got at least one good thing going for it: food. There are sit down restaurants, grab and go options, Starbucks what feels like every 50 feet. Here are my favorite places to stop when I’m spending hours of my life in one of the busiest and least organized airports of all time.
It might seem weird to do a post about a single airport, but after going home to Colorado for a long weekend, I realized how lucky I am to have my hub happen to have some amazing options for a quick gluten free meal or snack. With travel being so hard as it is gluten free, it can be a huge relief to know you can grab something safe at the airport. So I’m excited to start a new series on gluten free options in some of the most heavily traveled airports in the United States!
