When traveling, connections mean food—and Boston Logan is no stranger to connections! My experience eating gluten free in BOS has been overwhelmingly positive. To be honest, my favorite part is that they feature a favorite food of mine: fried shrimp. There aren’t a huge amount of options, but what they do have is wonderful in my opinion.
I recently went on my second Disney Cruise, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. This one was significantly shorter than the 2 week transatlantic I was on last time, but was still so wonderful.
Before we left, I had been bragging to my partner who joined me this time around about how great the food is, particularly how easy it was going to be for me. And as we sat down for our first dinner, I was secretly hoping it would live up to my hype. I’m glad to report it did!
In case you haven’t heard, Disney is AMAZING at handling food allergies. This was my first ever trip to Disney World, so I was really excited to not have the stress of food hanging over my head the entire time. When we made reservations online for sit-down places, we just checked off gluten on a list of special requests. Every sit-down restaurant had an allergy menu that featured gluten free options. In addition, most walk-up quick-service places had at least gluten free buns or the equivalent depending on what they offered, and the chefs had a great knowledge of what I could and couldn’t have at the buffets. Here are the places we went on a 2 day stop through, before our Disney Cruise (post on that coming soon!):
